Shear pin hardness tester

The Shear Pin Hardness Tester uses a proven constant loading system that produces clear impressions for accurate Brinell results. A precision pin shears off under impact to guarantee a constant load whether applied statically or dynamically. It is much more efficient than conventional Poldi testers because it requires only one indentation reading, completely removing the need for further computations.

This system handles smaller, narrower surfaces and features a longer-lasting penetrator compared to a standard Brinell ball. The standard indenter covers a range of 100 to 450 BHN, while an optional special carbide indenter expands the capacity from 230 to 650 BHN. It performs tests at a much faster rate and serves as an accurate portable solution for measuring hard cast iron.

The portable device weighs 1.25 kg and features compact overall dimensions of 240 × 115 × 55 mm. It comes supplied in a deluxe wooden box packed with 50 calibrated pins, conversion tables, instructions, and a 10x MAGNIFI-SCOPE measuring magnifier.
