Ultrasonic Hardness Tester TIME 5630
The Ultrasonic Hardness Tester Model: TIME5630 is a highly efficient, non-destructive testing instrument designed for metals and alloys with a minimum thickness of 3 mm. It features a bright 3.5-inch color LCD screen that displays the battery status, low-battery alarms, and crucial evaluation statistics like maximum, minimum, average, standard deviation, and measurement counts.
This portable device supports a 360° free measurement direction without requiring any gravity compensation. It comes equipped with a Vickers diamond indenter and selectable loading forces of 10N, 20N, and 50N, making it ideal for testing complex geometries like mold hardened layers, blade edges, tooth surfaces, flanges, turbine rotors, and thin welding parts.
The instrument natively measures across common scales—including HV, HB, HRC, and HRB—and offers built-in upper and lower limit settings that trigger an automatic alarm when values go out of bounds. While pre-calibrated for steel and cast steel, it can easily measure alloy tool steel, special cast iron, and non-ferrous metals after a quick calibration against standard test blocks.
Built for heavy industrial field use, the tester includes a large memory system powered by an internal 8G SD card to save extensive test records. It runs continuously for more than 30 hours on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, weighs a comfortable 500 grams, and features compact casing dimensions of 170×75×40 mm.
