Portable Hardness Tester
Model: HL300
The Portable Leeb Hardness Tester Model: HL300 is a compact and lightweight digital instrument designed to measure heavy, large, or fixed outdoor metal parts on-site. Built with a rugged plastic case suitable for poor working conditions, this highly flexible device supports testing at any angle—even completely upside down. It conforms strictly to the ASTM A956 standard, making it a reliable choice for demanding industrial environments.
The tester offers a wide measuring range across all metallic materials, showing direct value displays on a large segment LCD screen equipped with an EL background light. It natively supports a comprehensive list of hardness scales—including HLD, HRC, HRB, HRA, HV, HB, and HS—and comfortably handles measurements up to 68 HRC or 955 HV. It requires a minimum workpiece thickness of 5 mm and features an integrated software calibration function.
Equipped with a standard D-type Leeb impact probe device, the instrument includes an internal memory capable of storing up to 100 data groups. It utilizes Data Pro companion software to connect seamlessly with a PC via its RS232 communication port for easy data transfer. Designed for extended field operation, the system runs on a highly efficient power setup that delivers an impressive continuous working time of about 80 hours.
