The Optical Brinell Hardness Tester Model: VB-3000 (O) is a heavy-duty, production-grade testing machine designed for high-volume industrial environments. It features an advanced swiveling mechanism for the ball indenter and a built-in optical system that delivers 14x magnification. Equipped with a clear projection screen and a micrometer featuring a least count of 0.01 mm, this direct-reading optical device allows operators to measure the indentation impression directly on the screen. This smart design completely eliminates the need to move or disturb the heavy test sample during measurement, making the inspection workflow significantly faster and more efficient.

This robust machine is widely used for measuring the Brinell hardness of both ferrous and non-ferrous castings across foundries, engineering industries, and material testing laboratories. It is an essential tool for forging units and heat treatment plants to verify material hardness accurately before and after the heat treatment process. Powered by a 0.33 Hp drive motor and operating on a 415V, 50Hz, 3-Phase mains supply, the VB-3000 (O) handles extensive testing loads ranging from 250 kgf to 3000 kgf in steps of 250. The machine provides a generous maximum test height of 380 mm, a throat depth of 200 mm, and stands at an approximate height of 1185 mm with a solid net weight of around 500 Kg. Engineered to meet strict industrial compliance, this high-precision machine conforms to IS: 2281 / 1983 and BS 240 standards, guaranteeing a high accuracy level within 1%.
