Digital Shore Hardness Tester A, C, D
The Digital Shore Hardness Tester Series is a reliable and compact solution for measuring the hardness of various non-metallic materials. It is available in three distinct configurations—Shore A, Shore C, and Shore D—to match specific industrial testing requirements. Each tester features a standard measuring range of 0 to 100 Shore Units and a 0 to 2.5 mm depth of indentation, requiring a minimum material thickness of 6 mm for accurate readings.
The Shore A model is equipped with a 35º flat cone point indenter and operates under a measuring force of 0.55 to 8.065 N with a 1 Kg test pressure. The Shore C model features a spherical point indenter with a 2.38 radius, operating with the same 0.55 to 8.065 N force and 1 Kg test pressure. For harder materials, the Shore D variant utilizes a sharper 30º cone point indenter, applying a higher measuring force of 4.45 to 44.5 N under a 5 Kg test pressure.
These testers are highly portable and lightweight, maintaining a net weight of just 200 g and a gross weight of 300 g. Built for easy handling on-site or in the lab, each unit is designed with compact overall dimensions of 115 x 60 x 25 mm.
