Portable Barcol Hardness Tester for Aluminum and Alloys

Barcol Hardness Tester

Model: 934-1

The Barcol Hardness Tester Model: 934-1 is a small, portable machine used to check the hardness of soft materials. It works by pressing a sharp point (indentor) into the material sample and measuring how deep it goes. This testing method is mostly used for composite materials like fiber glass, or to check how well a plastic or resin has dried and cured. It is a very fast and low-cost way to check the quality and curing level of the entire part. This handheld tester is very light, weighing only about 1 Kg. It is perfect for testing the hardness of aluminum, aluminum alloys, copper, brass, plastics, and fiber glass. It can easily measure materials that have a hardness range from 25 to 150 BHN (based on a 10 mm ball with a 500 kg load).

This machine is very easy to use, and the operator does not need any special experience. Because of its small size, you can use it in any position and even in tight or small spaces where only your hand can reach. The best part about the Model 934-1 is that it saves a lot of time. There is no waiting around, no need to apply a pre-load, and you do not have to do any extra measurements. As soon as you press the tool against the material, the hardness number is shown instantly on a clear dial screen that is divided into 100 simple markings.
